Mug O' Love and Party #35

Here is a quick and easy Valentines gift for anyone!

It's  a Mug O' Love

This mug is filled with candy, jewelry and perfume.

Valentine Stove Burner Covers

I was very excited about this next project until my daughter reminded me that most people don't have old stoves like mine that need burner covers.

Hmph!
I'm posting it anyway

I wanted some Valentine burner covers (and of course nobody uses them anymore) I couldn't find any cute ones. So I decided to make my own.

I started thinking about how I could tie in a stove and Valentines. Here is what I came up with.

These sayings are all from different songs. Which I have shared below.

Cute Baby Announcement

It's a boy!!!

I had to share this cute baby announcement I received on my phone yesterday. Yes that is my grandson and he is getting a baby brother soon!

I guess this means another fun cake and decor for the baby blessing. I'm sure his mother is already planning something cute. Can't wait to help.

If you like these cute little shoes, she found them at Ross and Target!

Valentine Garland For $1

I stole this post from my daughters blog, Whims of Tim. This is a Valentines garland that she made and posted last year. I think it is darling!

All you need for this easy garland is a deck of cards! I bought a set of 2 at the Dollar Tree. You just cut out some hearts ( I used the heart cards) then glue them on to the back a few other other cards. I only taped mine to the string so that I can easily take them off and stack them for storage. Simple, and I think pretty darn cute garland (:

For something a little different I cut out the 7, 3, a heart and the A (with the line whited out) to spell love.
 Thanks Timber!

Valentine Banner

I made this Valentine Banner using my most favorite Valentines!

I used these little red picture frames for my Christmas tree. Then I got to thinking that the people in these frames are the sweetest things I have and what better to use as my Valentine banner.

I bought these Valentine doilies from the dollar store.

I turned the frames over and stapled a doily and ribbon to the back.

The easiest and sweetest banner ever!

Heart Shaped Fancy Egg

Okay I know you are wondering why I am calling this a fancy egg. I didn't know that they were called egg in a nest until later in my adult years. LOL! When I was younger my mother called these Fancy Eggs. Maybe this was to get us to eat our eggs. I still call them Fancy Eggs to this day. I know I am not the first to make a heart shaped egg in a nest, but I can bet I'm the first one to make a heart shaped fancy egg. (Wink)

Let's make this fancy egg!

I used a cookie cutter to cut the heart shape.

Next I lightly butter both sides of the bread. Put in a frying pan and cook as easy or hard as you like them.

Serve your Fancy Egg on a plate with some strawberries and whipped cream...

and if your feeling daring, sprinkle on some Red HOT sauce.
Serve this up to your Valentine for breakfast in bed!
