Hello ladies. I know you were probably expecting something Christmasy for the hand out, but that is not what the message is about. If you scroll down further I have added a poem I wrote that you could take to your ladies with a bag of goodies or homemade treat for Christmas.

Twas the sweet Christmas Season And all
through the ward
Sister elves were all serving No time
to get bored.
Christmas hymns being sung Sunday
lessons handled with care
Spirits lifted to our sister elves And
all that were there.
The ladies preparing for Christmas to
come
Always doing for others and keeping it
mum.
Monthly visits were finished not a
sister was missed
If you tried to reward them, sister
elves would resist.
When one night on the porch there arose
such a clatter
I sprang from my housework to see what
was the matter
Away to the door I opened up in a flash
Looking down at a bag and secretly
hoping for cash
The moon on the breast of the
new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of mid-day to this object below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a bag filled with goodies and a note filled with cheer.
Gave the luster of mid-day to this object below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a bag filled with goodies and a note filled with cheer.
The note was uplifting whoever left it
was quick,
If I guessed who it was a Sister Elf I would pick.
More rapid than eagles the holidays came,
Without the service and giving it would have not been the same

"Now cookies! now, preparing! now,
cleaning and decorations!
On, laundry! On, wrapping! on, gift giving and serving!
To the top of the list! to the top of it all!
The important thing is that the Lord loves us all.
On, laundry! On, wrapping! on, gift giving and serving!
To the top of the list! to the top of it all!
The important thing is that the Lord loves us all.
The meaning of Christmas we need to
remember
The birth of our Savior and not just in
December
May the service of sisters stay in our
hearts
May we all think of others and all do
our parts.
As Relief Society Sisters we want
you to know
How much you are loved, serving you
helps us grow.
And we want to exclaim, ‘ere with all of our might,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
And we want to exclaim, ‘ere with all of our might,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
