Here are a few fun Thanksgiving photo props that you may copy, paste and print.

Childrens Thanksgiving Table 2013

We were in the middle of a big move to another state so I wanted to do something fun but simple.

Here is what I came up with.

I loved the polka dot and stripes.

Plates, napkins - Party store

Hats - Zurchers party store

Square jars - Dollar Store

Little striped boxes - Zurchers party store ( I filled these with chex mix)

Name tag - I got it from a free clip art site and added the names, printed them and cut them out and put on each plate.

Pumpkin Caramel Bundt Cake

Ingredients:
One spice, white or yellow cake mix (I use the spice!!!)
One 15 oz can pumpkin puree

Mix these two ingredients together, pour into prepared cake pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

You may top this with your favorite glaze. I made homemade caramel and poured on top. I then added chopped pecans.

Serve and enjoy!

Thanksgiving Pumpkin

Thanksgiving 2012

Here is a little glimpse of our Thanksgiving. This was a very small Thanksgiving this year. We only had one daughter and her family.

 Turkey Juice and Turkey Toes

So much to be thankful for today!

Fondant Turkeys

Made these cute little Turkey's sitting on yummy Apple Cinnamon Muffins

I saw the turkey's in a Woman's World Magazine

Start with some brown gumpaste. Shape three pieces into pear shapes.

Then roll out three balls for the heads.

Six tear shapes for the wings. 

Next I cut out three triangle shapes with the top rounded.

Next I rolled two legs and smashed down the ends for the feet.

I then made three little toes or claws whatever they are called. :)

Then i took two rolls of red and orange.

With a rolling pin I rolled them flat.

Then I set it on one of the triangles.

Trim the sides.

Next gently make some feathers with a butter knife.

Next you will need to roll out white eyes, and make a little yellow beak. Then a red gobbler. I don't know what the real name is. But anyway make one of those. :)

So there you have all your pieces. Now put him together!

 Here I made the faces. Attached with a very small amount of water.

Here I have put more of the turkey together and am leaving them like this a little while to harden up. Notice I used a paper towel roll to make the wings stand up so they will dry like that. Then add the head and wings!

There you go, fun little Turkey Gobblers!

Welcome To Linky Party #25

 

 When I was younger I had to watch this show every Thanksgiving. I remember watching with my kids. Now I can't wait to watch it with my Grand-kids. Wow, I'm starting to sound old.

With Thanksgiving coming up this week I have to tell all of my blogger friends how very thankful I am for you. There are so many of you that I fill like I have known forever, although we have never met in person. I look forward to you linking up every week and being able to visit your blogs. Turkey Hat

 I made these for Thanksgiving 2011 for my grand kids.

When I saw this hat I knew I had to try and make it. Perfect for Thanksgiving!

Gobble Gobble!

  

I only know how to crochet but I only could find a knitting pattern from Ravelry for this. So I found a basic beanie hat pattern and just made up my own legs. I wish I could make a pattern for you but I am still learning how to read patterns myself. I stuffed the legs with batting before I added the white bone on the end. I hope that you can knit or can figure this out. Sorry not to be more help. But I had to share.
