Valentine Card

Thought you might want a cute idea for a Valentine Card. This is one my daughter made for me last year using her baby boy.

Who wouldn't love one of these and so easy to make.
With plenty of lipstick on kiss your cutie all over the face. (Your cutie doesn't have to be a baby)

*Snap some pictures.
*Download to your computer.
*Use any editing program and add a sweet Valentine message. (I Like PicMonkey)
*Then if you have a printer just print them off. If you don't have a printer you can order them online through Walmart, Sams or Costco for inexpensive

Valentine Stove Burner Covers

I was very excited about this next project until my daughter reminded me that most people don't have old stoves like mine that need burner covers.

Hmph!
I'm posting it anyway

I wanted some Valentine burner covers (and of course nobody uses them anymore) I couldn't find any cute ones. So I decided to make my own.

I started thinking about how I could tie in a stove and Valentines. Here is what I came up with.

These sayings are all from different songs. Which I have shared below.

Valentine Garland For $1

I stole this post from my daughters blog, Whims of Tim. This is a Valentines garland that she made and posted last year. I think it is darling!

All you need for this easy garland is a deck of cards! I bought a set of 2 at the Dollar Tree. You just cut out some hearts ( I used the heart cards) then glue them on to the back a few other other cards. I only taped mine to the string so that I can easily take them off and stack them for storage. Simple, and I think pretty darn cute garland (:

For something a little different I cut out the 7, 3, a heart and the A (with the line whited out) to spell love.
 Thanks Timber!

Valentine Banner

I made this Valentine Banner using my most favorite Valentines!

I used these little red picture frames for my Christmas tree. Then I got to thinking that the people in these frames are the sweetest things I have and what better to use as my Valentine banner.

Heart Shaped Fancy Egg

Okay I know you are wondering why I am calling this a fancy egg. I didn't know that they were called egg in a nest until later in my adult years. LOL! When I was younger my mother called these Fancy Eggs. Maybe this was to get us to eat our eggs. I still call them Fancy Eggs to this day. I know I am not the first to make a heart shaped egg in a nest, but I can bet I'm the first one to make a heart shaped fancy egg. (Wink)

I confess I love Abba and their music. I guess that's why I loved the Mama Mia Movie so much. Does anyone besides me remember this song?
Check out the I Do (I Dew) song and don't you just love the outfits. :)
