What's your favorite thing about Dwight Yoakam?

I love his songs, they just want to make you get up and dance!

I attended an outdoor concert of Dwight Yoakam at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre  in Pocatello, Idaho.                       I had so much more fun than I thought I was going to.

I thought I wouldn't remember many of the songs, but with each and everyone the words came back to me.

We were lucky enough to be right up against the stage which was fun. Of course with all the drinking that was going on at an outdoor concert we had a lot of other entertainment also. Ha ha!

Well I can say that Dwight has not lost it. He still could sing those songs and he still has all his famous signature dance moves.

Funny Shopping Mall Chair

We had some fun at the South Towne Mall in SLC Utah. 

I have never seen these chairs before but they were a lot of fun.

Pirate Cove Pizza Experience

If you are ever in or passing through St George, UT the Pirate Cove Pizza is a great place to stop for food and to have a great time.

I think I may have been a little too excited to be there, because of the amazing atmosphere. Made me feel like I was eating at a restaurant in Disneyland, and who wouldn't be happy about that.

Maybe I Should Have Gone To IHOP Instead Of ijump

Yes, some pancakes and a side of bacon with a cold glass of milk would have been good. Instead I chose to go with the kids and do something a little more physical that day.

Should have gone with the pancakes. LOL!

Would You Kiss The Blarney Stone?

I hope I'm not the only one that thought that the Blarney Stone was a big rock like this.

Swan Valley Camping

If you are ever in Eastern Idaho you must definitely drive through Swan Valley. It is beautiful in the summer. We went to creek falls to do a little *Peterson camping. We roasted weenies, made tin foil dinners and smores. After that we went on an adventure, as the kids called it. We followed little trails along the beautiful snake river! It was very hot so I was glad to be done with our little adventure. Nothing like wanting to get this fun over with. But I have to admit that I love spending time with the kids and grand-kids. On our way out we stopped at the  Rainey Creek Store, home of the square ice cream cone. You can't pass by without getting one of them, it just wouldn't be right. Well that was enough  camping for me, I'm off to take a long shower.                                                                             

*Peterson Camping - Going to a camp ground for a couple of hours and then returning to your hotel, home etc... for a shower and to sleep in a soft bed! :)

Gotta Stay Here!

Okay, I saw this picture on Pinterest. I have to go and stay here. This would be the coolest thing ever! Problem is it didn't have a link. Has anyone stayed here or does anyone know where this is?

French Toast

Do you love French Toast? Then you need to try Kneaders. All you can eat French Toast for $4.99 You can't beat that price. Comes with strawberries and cream along with their yummy syrup!

Fashion District

If your lovin the boots, all I can say is Fashion District. These were so fun I just had to get them.They kind of clash with the hotel carpet. :)

The Fashion District in LA is incredible. You have miles of stores that seem to never end. Each store you go in has better sales than the one before so you just keep buying. See the suitcases and carts we are towing? You have to pack around your lute somehow.

Okay I just had to buy these also. I put them on as soon as I left the store, and I got a lot of funny looks. Maybe they were just surprised I could walk in them.

Just look at all the people and the stores. They go on forever. Yes, it's Heaven. I really need to go again. This is one of my favorite things that I have done with my friends. We had a blast. If you ever have the chance. "You Gotta Try That"
