M&M's

Here we had an M&M themed dinner party. So colorful and fun. Each table was a different color to match an M&M, with fun tissue paper flowers. The M&M's on the cake were to dry and so they started to crack and eye parts and m's started falling off. While the black on the M&M's started to melt and smear. LOL. Not one of my best cakes. But still a fun party!

Easter Bunnies

These little bunnies turned out so cute. I turned these into hair clips by hot gluing a hair clip on the back and then putting it on this card to give to my grand daughters. I don't have a pattern, I just made it up as I went and I wouldn't know how to make the pattern either. I did find a cute pattern if you wanted  HERE They put magnets on the bottom of theirs and made them into fridge magnets which is also a cute idea.

Flower Forget Me Not

These were fun and easy. Buy card stock in any color you'd like your flower. If you are making a forget me not you will want blue. Cut out a petal and trace out five petals. Cut out.

Next I used a glue gun and glued the end together on all five petals. Then you glue three of the petals together. The last two need to be glued on each side of the three. Hope you can see that in the picture.

I then added a yellow circle made out of card stock. A bunch of these makes cute decorations for any party!

Grass for Easter Basket

Take red wheat and soak in a bowl of water overnight. Then for the next two to three days rinse 3 times a day in strainer with water.

After the three days it will have sprouts. You now put it in containers filled with moist soil. Cover with wet paper towels and put in a cool dark place for two to three days. Keep the paper wet and moist during this time.
In just two to three days you will have grass growing. You now will want to keep it out so it gets sunlight and keep the soil moist.

I used my grass for a fun Easter basket decoration! So proud of my grass. If you knew my history of killing plants you would be proud of me too.

Easter Egg Nests

These Easter Nests were so easy and fun to make with my babies.

All we did was melt some chocolate and then pour it into a package of Chinese Noodles. After the chocolate was completely mixed in, I took a 1/4 cup and scooped them onto wax paper. Before the nests dry we added three jelly beans to each nest. Took them about five minutes to set, and then less than five minutes to eat! :)

Beard Beanie Hat

Bought the hats at the dollar store then crochet and attached these fun beards. I kind of made up my own beard but you can google the pattern and there were several free ones. I made one for my baby grandsons but I haven't got a picture yet. I will be sure to add it when I do.

Elephant Cake

This cake was made for my sweet grandson for his baby blessing.

New Years Eve Party

Usually on New Year's Eve we head to our favorite Chinese Restaurant. This particular year we didn't feel like fighting the crowds. We decorated the dining room instead and ordered our Chinese food to go.

Penquin

This was a cute Penquin party me and my daughters did for a Baby Shower. It was a lot of fun.

Party Game

This party game is hilarious and fun from small kids right on up to adults as you can see in the picture. All you do is tie a balloon around your ankle with a string. When everyone has a balloon tied on someone yells go and you start trying to pop others balloons. You do this by stamping on their balloon. No HANDS! You gotta try this!

Chocolate Cake

Yes this tasted as good as it looks. This was the biggest piece of cake I had ever seen. That is a large to go box, not the normal small dessert to go box. I just had to take a picture. You can't tell in the picture but it was a good three inches tall. It was so moist and yummy. Want to get one for yourself? You'll have to go to "Hard Hat Steakhouse & Grill"

Doll Bed

Cute doll bed my husband made for my grand daughter. I sewed the little mattress and pillow.

Zombies

My son and daughter as zombies. They look pretty creepy.

Dr Seuss

This is what my daughter did with her two year old to celebrate Dr Seuss Day. I thought is was very cute and clever!

Skeletons

Coolest skeleton costumes ever. Ordered them from China!

Ponytail Beanie Hat

I thought this was a clever idea. Keep your head warm and keep the ponytail. It was very easy to make. I got this free pattern from Suzies Stuff

I just had to share this cute Barbie house my husband made. I wish I would have taken pictures as he make it. Sorry no tutorial, can't get him to  make another one.

Baseball Wristbands

How cute are these. Baseball wristbands. What is fun is that they are for guys and girls. They weren't as easy to make as I thought, but I think they turned out cute!

Wicked Witch

Did you notice that the wicked witch has Dorthy's shoes. :) I don't know if you can see, but in the bag is the foot of Dorthy along with Toto's tail and scraps of Dorthy's dress. The face was sprayed on and white contacts are being worn.

Four Wheeler Cake

Not a fancy cake, but I thought the frosting was the perfect effect for this four wheeler going through the mud. It was a yummy German Chocolate cake.

Minnie Mouse Cake & Party

Here is a cake I made for my grand daughters Minnie party. Her mom went all out on decorations. It was so cute! This was a plain vanilla cake. I used MMF. Recipe and tutorial click HERE The bow was bow was also out of fondant. The two ears were made by cutting two circles of black foam. Then I wrapped the black fondant over the foam, inserted toothpicks and stuck them into the top. I purchase three different sizes of white beads from the dollar store. Then I wrapped them around the bottom and middle. The smallest beads I draped over the ears to look look like a necklace.

 Lot's of yummy cupcakes!

These spiral cupcake holders were found at Target. They were perfect!

This cute dessert table had cookie suckers, cupcakes, cupcake liners filled with mini candy bars wrapped with a Minnie Mouse paper, black licorice, red licorice, mints and of course the Birthday Cake.

These were the center pieces at each of the eating tables. Along with the foam Minnie Mouse we made the tissue paper flowers.

This was made with foam balls spray painted black, hot glued together, and a cute red ribbon attached.

This table had pictures of the Birthday girl, Minnie Mouse ears for all the guests, two giant balloon bouquets, and goodie bags. The goodie bags were filled with candy, rings, necklaces, stickers and more candy. :)

My daughter rented this giant bounce house for the kids. Even the big kids (adults) joined in. It was so big it touched the ceiling and took up half of the gym in the City Building. It was a blast!

And last but certainly not least our sweet Birthday girl!

Fashion District

If your lovin the boots, all I can say is Fashion District. These were so fun I just had to get them. They kind of clash with the hotel carpet. :)
The Fashion District in LA is incredible. You have miles of stores that seem to never end. Each store you go in has better sales than the one before so you just keep buying. See the suitcases and carts we are towing? You have to pack around your lute somehow.
Okay I just had to buy these also. I put them on as soon as I left the store, and I got a lot of funny looks. Maybe they were just surprised I could walk in them.
Just look at all the people and the stores. They go on forever. Yes, it's Heaven. I really need to go again. This is one of my favorite things that I have done with my friends. We had a blast. If you ever have the chance. "You Gotta Try That"
