Dwight Yoakams Signature Dance Moves!

What's your favorite thing about Dwight Yoakam?

I love his songs, they just want to make you get up and dance!

I attended an outdoor concert of Dwight Yoakam at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre  in Pocatello, Idaho.                       I had so much more fun than I thought I was going to.

I thought I wouldn't remember many of the songs, but with each and everyone the words came back to me.

We were lucky enough to be right up against the stage which was fun. Of course with all the drinking that was going on at an outdoor concert we had a lot of other entertainment also. Ha ha!

Well I can say that Dwight has not lost it. He still could sing those songs and he still has all his famous signature dance moves.

Chicken & Waffles Lay's Chips

I know Chicken and Waffle Lay's Chips are not "NEW" but they are to me. After hearing many opinions on these chips, I have wanted to try them myself.

Only problem, I have searched everywhere and couldn't find them. Well I finally found a bag while on a road trip and gave them a try.

What did I think?

They were by no means yucky but definitely not yummy either. I myself would never buy them again. If I am going to eat something fattening, it's gonna be some other flavor of Lay's chips that I really love! If you have tried these, I can't wait to hear what you thought about them!

Well here is the rest of the story.

 I tore my ACL and meniscus and both lateral ligaments.

I had to wait eleven long day's before surgery. I wasn't hurting too bad as long as I kept the brace on and didn't put any pressure on it. Sleeping was not very good either.

Yes, some pancakes and a side of bacon with a cold glass of milk would have been good. Instead I chose to go with the kids and do something a little more physical that day.

What is a doppleganger?

In Vocabulary.com dictionary it says

Someone who looks spookily like you, but isn't a twin, is a doppelganger. 

Originally, this was a type of ghost.

The word doppelganger is German and literally means double walker — as in a ghost or shadow of yourself. An easy way to remember it is that doppelganger sounds like double, as in "That movie star is my double. We look so much alike." These days, most people don't refer to the ghost meaning when talking about doppelgangers: they just mean someone who looks a lot like you or could be your twin. Still, that is pretty spooky.
