I turned an old stool into a fun flag stool!
I started with a stool and paint.
The first thing I did was paint the stool an off white.
I then taped off the section I would use for the blue. I cut out some stars from some clear contact paper and added them. They are a bit hard to see in the picture.
Then I painted blue over the stars. Let dry and try not to be impatient as I was. :)
When it was dry I pulled off the star stickers and then taped stripes. I then painted the red stripes. When that is all dry you can tear off the tape.
I wanted it to look old and so I took a piece of sandpaper and sanded across the top.
That is it. I am excited to have another patriotic decoration for my family room.
I love how your stool came out! Thank you for sharing at our Pinteresting Party!
