Gingerbread Cookies

These gingerbread cookies are soft and mild flavored.

In a large bowl or mixer, cream together the butter and  sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg.

This is the mild flavored Molasses I like to use.

Mix in the water and molasses. Gradually mix the sifted ingredients into the molasses mixture.

Shape dough into one inch balls.. Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten slightly. Sprinkle with sugar.

See full recipe below!

  6. I am not a huge Gingerbread cookie fan (ate to much Ginger while prego) but my hubby LOVES them. So I make them for him. I love that this recipe is mild and I am also a huge fan of soft cookies over hard ones. Thanks so much for sharing on We Made That!
