Firecrackers

Firecrackers or 4th of July Candles?

When I finished making these, some of my family members said they looked like Firecrackers and some said 4th of July candles.

I purchased these three containers from the Dollar Store and the cute paper I got from Michael's

I made my containers three different sizes. This is what might have made them look more like a candle set. You may choose to leave them all the same size.

I proceeded to paint the the tops a deeper red to match the paper better.
I then glued the paper to the containers.

I was going to use jute as the wick but then I found some old thick wire in the garage that I liked better.

I poked a hole in the top and just pushed the wire in.

Here are my Firecrackers added to my hutch!
