I had to show all of you
my colorful carrots. Red, yellow, white and orange. I picked them to soon so they are not as big as
they should be, but I couldn't wait to share.
I think they are pretty and they taste just like the orange carrots.
Something fun to plant with the kids and they also making whatever dish you use them in colorful and fun!

wow very colorfull
ReplyDeleteI had no idea carrots could be so colorful! How do they get their color? Are they a special kind of carrot?
ReplyDeleteI don't know a lot about them I just know my friend planted them. I had never heard of them before so I wanted to plant some. The only place that we could find seeds for these was at Fred Meyers, if you have one of those. You probably could order them also. No special name was on the seeds just a picture of the colorful carrots.
DeleteI had NO idea that carrots came in so many beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteyour carrots look gorgeous! we planted some purple carrots- can't wait to see how they turn out!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanne!
DeleteThose are so cool! We grew carrots for the first time this year, but it would have been even more fun to grow colorful ones! No Fred Meyer here, but I'll be on the lookout.

Those all look great together! They are all so pretty it would be a shame to eat them but they would make a very pretty stew or dish of raw carrots. It's amazing what colors of veggies there are.
ReplyDeleteYummy!! I absolutely love harvesting my vegi's...they always seems like little miracles when you grow them yourself. Happy Green Thumbing!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, i didn't realize you could get carrots in so many different colours.
ReplyDeleteI would love it if you would pop by my blog and join our party

Wow, those are beautiful! I tried carrots once, but our soil was all clay and I hadn't bothered to loosen it up, so I got carrot stubs instead of actual carrots :-). Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors. We were just talking about planting some colored carrots next year. Our carrots ( orange) did really well this year. Did you know you can leave them in the ground to tore them through winter? Hugs
