Mummy

 Day 13

I made these mummy's out of a toilet paper roll, a mac & cheese box and a 8" tall 2 x 4 piece of wood. Get creative and use whatever you've got around the house. I also used cheese cloth from the dollar store, hot glue and paint.

Before I painted these I put a rock in the mac & cheese box so it wouldn't tip over. I then taped up the top.

I sprayed painted these with white paint. You could also use a tole paint. Let dry.
I then used some black paint and used the eraser head on a pencil to paint on the eyes.Let the eyes dry.
Take the cheese cloth and cut into about 1-2 inch strips.
Put a dot of hot glue and cover the top first.
Then start wrapping around the wood and use a dot of glue every once in a while where needed. Don't cover the eyes.
Continue to wrap all the way down and finish with another dot of glue.
Take the same steps with the toilet paper roll and the mac & cheese box.
Finished. I love how they turned out! Not to mention how quick, easy and inexpensive they are.
