Halloween Bust

Of course I was so pleased with myself when I found this 19" bust at the thrift store for $5

I painted the bust black with watered down tole paint.

While it was still wet I gently wiped it so that the white would show threw.

I had this old plant stand that was already black. So glad I didn't throw it away as planned, because it works perfect for the bust.

When the bust was dry I put it on top of the black plant stand. They matched perfectly.

For the finishing touches I added some spider webs and of course some spiders, with a black bird that I got from the dollar store.

This is the bottom of the plant stand.

The bust and the stand together are 4 feet tall. So fun!

Hmm now where will I put it?
