Here is my 4th of July cake. White cake on the bottom
with top two layers being foam. I rolled the stars and swirls into the
white fondant before putting it on the cake. Topped it off with a couple
of dollar store decorations and some tiny flags. The flags are really
tiny, you might have to look close for them.

DeleteI really love the idea of rolling the shapes into the fondant first. I made a similar cake and glued the shapes on with apricot jam, but your method looks better.
