4th of July Cake

Here is my 4th of July cake. White cake on the bottom with top two layers being foam. I rolled the stars and swirls into the white fondant before putting it on the cake. Topped it off with a couple of dollar store decorations and some tiny flags. The flags are really tiny, you might have to look close for them.

  3. I really love the idea of rolling the shapes into the fondant first. I made a similar cake and glued the shapes on with apricot jam, but your method looks better.
